Fragilités Latentes - "Latent Fragility"

The "Latent Fragility" series explores the psychological states we learn to conceal. The portrait in this series is constructed in two parts: the visible and the hidden.
Black light acts as a revelator. What seemed smooth, contained, or silent reveals hands, bonds, and cracks. This invisible presence is a symbol of the forces that shape us, as well as the mental chaos hidden beneath the social mask that each of us learns to present to the world.

Contours Effacés - "Blurred Outlines"

The series “Blurred Outlines” explores identity through the lens of the visible and the invisible.
Through her portraits of women, Morgane Parmentier seeks to reveal what lies behind a face rather than capture it. Each painting occupies a delicate liminal space between what is revealed and what fades away; between what is unveiled and what resists the gaze. The contours are fluid, as if the subject were oscillating between presence and disappearance.
These portraits evoke the moment one steps back to make way for another, especially for a woman.

Clartés Obscures - "Obscure Clarities"

This series "Obscure Clarities" explores the tension between light and darkness using color.
Each canvas is a space in which shadows are revealed by the light passing through them.
