Lau Vago, a Belgian painter, discovered painting in 2006 while pursuing a long and demanding university career.
Very early on, artistic practice became a vital necessity for her, a space of freedom and intuition that counterbalanced the rigour of her studies.
This dialogue between science and creation fuels a profound personal quest: to translate the essentials of life through matter and color. By experimenting with ink, pigments, acrylic, and gold leaf, Lau Vago has developed a spontaneous, sensitive style and gradually built a unique pictorial language.
Her works are regularly exhibited in Belgium and feature in several private collections.
